#8 FRESH – Sugar Face Polish

I’d like to talk about how important it is to read the instructions before using products… Not to mention you could end up with a much larger problem than my disheartening little moment after use of this product. From the name you assume you cleanse as normal, use this as your exfoliator and depending on your mood – you mask after. Nuh-uh-uh, not with this little cutie. You’re in for a treat.

I picked this product up from Sephora where it retails for $75.00CAD for 4.4oz (125g).
Fresh has relatively expensive products but like a few other brands I can always justify dishing out the cash for such humble products. Made with pure brown sugar, real wild strawberries, and hydrating plum and grape seed oils. Doesn’t being able to pronounce the ingredients make you feel good?

Anyway, I thought I was going to eat the entire jar as I was scrubbing it into my nose. It smells so beautiful – just like brown sugar and strawberries. It’s not an abrasive scrub, nor too gentle, it’s perfectly in-between. But here’s what caught me the first time after rinsing after applying… It’s also a mask! This is meant to be left on for roughly 10 minutes after applying. (Why not, it smells sweet enough!) So I had to use this product a few times before actually writing a review. (Def. not complaining.)  AND IT LEAVES YOUR SKIN GLOWING! Literally. It’ll make you feel bad about putting makeup on that day.

After using it properly……. It’s super nice to rinse off as well, gives you another gentle exfoliating kick and leaves your skin ever so soft. This is where you REALLY notice the effect of all the oils that are packed in there. Shoutout to everyone with dry skin, you should totally try this product.
Everyone else.. You should totally try this  product too.

I’ll 100% be purchasing this again, and it’s undeniably the nicest facial scrub-mask i’ve ever had the pleasure of using. xo
